I was born in Florence where I have always lived.
I have recently started renting this apartment with the same enthusiasm I have when I travel during my holidays.
When coming to Florence, like to any other city in the world, it takes time to decide what to do, where to eat, where to buy, which are the events happening during exactly that period and so forth.
Making the best decisions sometimes is difficult and a lot of nice initiatives are under the radar or the tickets are sold out.
At Asso’s Place we try to assist our guests providing detailed information on events, museums, restaurants and anything not to be missed in Florence and Tuscany. We do this prior to arrival sending you a list of events and after you have checked in with a long introductory conversation where I will try to understand your expectations and help ,where I can, to make your visit and your stay at Asso’s Place a good memory.
Then, if you wish so, I will be happy to take you around for an informal walk. This is a unique opportunity to speak, ask questions (not all have answers though…) and see some hidden details of this incredible city.
The walk is extremely informal, changes daily and is free of charge.
Although a long period is ideal to explore Florence in depth and get to know parts and aspects of Florence which are otherwise overlooked when visitors stay only for a few days, staying with us is the solution to make the best use of your time. Small Museums, Contemporary Art Galleries and Antique shops, Wine shops, Classical Music, Markets… There’s a world to discover and most of it is within walking distance. And then you can come always back…..
This is my way to welcome my guests at Asso’s Place.
